1. What’s your current role at Loads, and what’s your main focus right now?

My role is Head of Finance & Staff. On the finance side, my main responsibility is to ensure that Loads’ financial information is efficient, reliable, and transparent, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions and have a clear understanding of our financial health. From a People & HR perspective, I focus on maintaining an effective and harmonious work environment while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, providing peace of mind for all our team members.

2. What’s your role at Loads and what’s a typical day like for you?

At Loads, we are always on the move. Since we began operations, we’ve experienced incredible growth, which has been both exciting and challenging for the entire team. From my role in Finance and HR, understanding new markets and how labor, accounting, and tax regulations work in each one is essential to ensure full compliance. At Loads, we are constantly learning, optimizing our processes, and finding better ways to do things. Every day is different and gives you the opportunity to put all your talents into action.

3. What’s something you’ve learned working in international trade at Loads?

At Loads, you are learning all the time. Personally, my biggest takeaway has been understanding that constant resource optimization and the effective use of available technological tools are key to the success of any company—especially in international trade, where you serve clients across different countries, cultures, languages, and needs.

4. What’s the biggest shift you see coming in global food trade?

Significant changes are coming in the next few years, mainly driven by the need to reduce environmental impact and promote responsible production. Climate change is already affecting agricultural output, creating uncertainty around pricing and food availability. Technology and digitalization are undoubtedly transforming the industry—and this is where Loads is ahead of the curve.

5. What’s the most important value that drives decision-making at Loads?

The most important value that guides our decisions at Loads is trust. We build technology and relationships based on transparency, reliability, and long term collaboration, both with our partners and within our team.

6. If you had to describe Loads’ culture in three words, what would they be?

To source, move, and finance food globally in an efficient way, making it accessible to everyone.

7. How do you see Loads evolving in the next few years?

We will continue expanding into new markets and diversifying our product portfolio. We’re developing new financial products to support our clients and suppliers, and we’ll focus on building and optimizing logistics solutions tailored to the food industry.

8. What are you most excited about in the coming months?

Our expansion into new markets brings major challenges, and that’s what excites me the most—I truly love it.
