2. What’s your role at Loads and what’s a typical day like for you?
My day-to-day work brings together purchasing, sales, and financing. I stay closely involved in the operations we manage from Mexico and the United States, coordinating with teams and partners across different markets around the world. Every day is different, but the goal remains the same: understanding each customer’s needs and finding the right way to support them.
3. What’s something you’ve learned working in international trade at Loads?
I’ve learned that successful international trade depends as much on collaboration as it does on market knowledge. Working with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams has shown me the importance of combining different perspectives and creating strong synergies. With offices in several parts of the world, our ability to work toward shared goals has been essential to the results we’ve achieved.
4. What’s the biggest shift you see coming in global food trade?
The global food trade is being shaped by several forces at once. Climate change, water scarcity, and other pressures on agriculture are creating new challenges for producers, suppliers, and buyers, while each season brings its own conditions and uncertainties.
At the same time, artificial intelligence could have a major impact on the agrifood industry. It can help make operations more efficient and improve the way we anticipate market trends, demand, supply, and other factors influencing global food markets. The companies that combine technology with strong relationships and sound judgment will be best positioned to adapt.
5. What’s the most important value that drives decision-making at Loads?
Excellence in everything we do. That means maintaining high standards, taking responsibility for our work, and always looking for ways to improve the experience we provide.

7. How do you see Loads evolving in the next few years?

8. What are you most excited about in the coming months?
I’m especially excited about the planning we’re doing with our customers for the end of the year. Preparing to supply Peruvian grapes for the year-end season is a great opportunity to work closely with our partners and deliver a product that meets their expectations at an important time of year.
