Through Data Science, incredible advances related to the food industry have been achieved, such as recreating flavors (the case of Guiseppe, the NotCo program), improving the taste of certain fruits and vegetables using their chemical profile and avoiding food waste through devices that prevent unnecessary production (AVOS of the company Westfalia from Netherlands).

What is Demetra and how does it work? We tell you in 4 points:

• The name is not by chance, it's the name of one of the most ancient deities of the Greek pantheon: the goddess of agriculture, who guaranteed the fertility of the land and protected the crops. 

• It's an algorithm that seeks to increase the transparency of information in the commercialization of food and to offer a simple negotiation alternative to small and medium-sized producers.

• It has a very simple user interface, by answering 5 questions you can offer a price (this is a proposal to be reviewed with our commercial team).
